Company Review

Trend Analysis

MITIE TELECOMS LIMITED demonstrates a generally prompt payment trend with an average payment time of 29 days, ensuring 67% of invoices are settled within 30 days. While a significant 32% of payments extend into the 31-60 day window, only a minimal 1% exceed 60 days, indicating a consistent, albeit slightly varied, payment behavior. This suggests a predominant adherence to standard payment terms, with a notable segment consistently paying within two months.

Volatility Analysis

Despite a low overall late payment rate of 10%, the substantial 32% of payments falling into the 31-60 day category introduces some variability and reduced predictability for cash flow. Suppliers should acknowledge that nearly one-third of their invoices might not be settled within a typical 30-day period. This indicates a moderate level of payment consistency, where a large portion is reliable, but a considerable segment has extended payment patterns.

Summary Analysis

Overall, MITIE TELECOMS LIMITED presents a largely favorable payment profile with a strong average payment time and low official late payment rate, making them a generally reliable counterparty. Suppliers should account for the possibility of approximately one-third of payments taking up to 60 days, which requires robust cash flow planning. It is recommended to establish clear payment terms and implement proactive follow-up processes for invoices approaching the 30-day mark to mitigate potential delays.

Payment Terms

Standard payment terms

Our standard payment terms state that payment of supplier invoices for goods and services will be made 60 days from the end of the month in which a correct, undisputed and properly due VAT invoice is received, unless otherwise agreed by a duly authorised representative. However, consideration is also given to our SME suppliers where alternative payment terms, of 30 days from the end of the month in which a correct and undisputed VAT invoice is dated, may be agreed. The business also operates a no purchase order, no pay policy, unless otherwise agreed, in exceptional circumstances, by a duly authorised representative. Invoices received, and which do not include a valid purchase order number, are rejected and returned to the supplier

Dispute Resolution Process

We recognise the strategic importance of our supply chain partners, and as such are committed to treating them fairly. If the dispute remains unresolved either the supplier or the company shall refer it to mediation in accordance with the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution ("CEDR") Model Mediation Procedure that is in force at the date of the referral
