This company, registered as Orsted Schroders Greencoat WODS Holdco Limited, was previously named Orsted West of Duddon Sands (UK) Limited and, before that, Dong Energy West of Duddon Sands (UK) Limited. Companies House records list its business as production of electricity. Legal proceedings confirm it is a member of a group whose ultimate parent is Orsted A/S, alongside related entities such as Gunfleet Sands Limited and Walney (UK) Offshore Windfarms Limited, which together own and operate windfarms off the coast of England. This entity functions as a holding company within that offshore wind group structure rather than as the direct operator, reflecting its role in the ownership chain for the West of Duddon Sands windfarm interests.
