Standard payment terms
The most frequent payment terms are 30 days paid by electronic funds transfer. In our industry (electronic components distribution), payment terms tend to be determined by the individual supplier. Due to the volume of invoices that we have to process, we do 2 large trade payment runs per month, with one in the middle of the month and one at the end of the month. The majority of our suppliers are based outside of the UK.
