Trend Analysis
WARNER MUSIC UK LIMITED's average payment time of 31 days indicates a slight tendency to pay just beyond standard 30-day terms. While a strong majority of 73% of payments are made within 30 days, demonstrating general promptness, a consistent pattern emerges where 11% of invoices are paid over 60 days. This suggests a dual trajectory: most payments are timely, but a notable segment experiences significant delays.
Volatility Analysis
Despite the majority of on-time payments, the 23% late payment rate introduces a considerable degree of unpredictability for suppliers' cash flow planning. The 11% of payments extending beyond 60 days represents a specific and elevated risk factor, making it unreliable to forecast exact payment dates for all invoices. This spread in payment times indicates moderate volatility, where a significant portion of invoices will not adhere to standard terms.
Summary Analysis
Suppliers should approach WARNER MUSIC UK LIMITED with an understanding of their moderate payment risk, particularly regarding the 23% late payment incidence and the 11% of payments exceeding 60 days. Key decision factors include a supplier's tolerance for occasional payment delays and the potential impact of very late payments on their working capital. Mitigations could involve establishing stricter credit limits, negotiating shorter payment terms for high-value orders, or implementing proactive invoice follow-up strategies.

Standard payment terms
All suppliers of goods and services are offered 30 day payment terms from the date of receipt of the invoice by the accounts payable team, except for other Warner Music Group companies, which have typical payment terms of 60 days.
