Company Review
Trend Analysis
The average payment time of 39 days indicates a mixed trend; while 46% of invoices are settled within 30 days, a significant 24% extend beyond 60 days. This suggests a bifurcated payment behavior, where a portion is timely but a considerable segment experiences substantial delays, pulling the average into an extended range.
Volatility Analysis
The payment data reveals notable volatility and unpredictability, with 25% of all payments classified as late and nearly a quarter (24%) exceeding 60 days. This high percentage of significantly delayed payments poses a considerable risk to supplier cash flow stability and forecasting accuracy.
Summary Analysis
Given the inconsistency, with nearly half of payments being prompt but a quarter being significantly delayed, suppliers should proceed with awareness of potential cash flow impacts. Key decision factors include the capacity to absorb extended payment cycles; implementing stricter payment terms or proactive collections for this client could mitigate risks.
