Company Review
Trend Analysis
FAMILY ACTION demonstrates a strong trend of timely payments, with an average payment time of 23 days and 83% of invoices settled within 30 days. This indicates a consistent focus on prompt settlements, positioning them as a generally reliable payer for the vast majority of transactions.
Volatility Analysis
While the majority are paid promptly, there is a minor degree of volatility, with 12% of payments falling into the 31-60 day bracket and 5% exceeding 60 days. This 5% directly accounts for their reported late payment rate, indicating that late payments, when they occur, tend to be significantly delayed rather than just slightly past due.
Summary Analysis
For supplier decision-making, FAMILY ACTION presents a low overall payment risk, given their high rate of on-time payments. Suppliers should be aware of a small but significant segment of very late payments (5% over 60 days) and may consider standard payment terms with clear escalation for this minority to mitigate potential cash flow impact.

Dispute Resolution Process
If there is a separate agreement between the supplier and Family Action relating to the supply of the goods or services to which an invoice relates, disputes relating to the invoice will be treated as a dispute arising under that agreement. Where there is no separate agreement, disputes shall be dealt with according to Family Action standard Terms and Conditions of Purchase. Family Action reserves the right to withhold payment of disputed amounts pending resolution. However, Family Action values its long-term relationships with suppliers and endeavours to settle any invoicing disputes quickly. In the first instance, any dispute should be settled between the Family Action representative who placed the order, and an authorised person for the supplier. If, after 14 days, the dispute is unresolved, the supplier can re-direct the dispute by emailing the Accounts Payable Team on financedocuments@family-action.org.uk with a copy of the invoice, a summary of the issue(s) and correspondence to date in respect of the dispute. The Accounts Payable Team will escalate the information within Family Action to facilitate resolution where possible
