The increase in Average Days Paid and in Payments Not Made Within the Terms are due to new internal processes. From 1st September 2024 the Trust centralised all invoice processing, adopted a “no po no pay policy” and implemented a new finance system. This system implementation and change of process did lead to a temporary increase in payment timeframes for the first 4 months. We have reviewed the data from January and February 2025, which shows a significant improvement to payment timeframes, returning average days paid to 30 days.
