"Generally there are no disputes with the suppliers. If there is a problem with an invoice, whether it's a problem with quantities or price, the invoice is returned to Procurement department (price and other queries) or Operations department (goods receipt related queries). A member of the procurement team will then contact the supplier and resolve the price and related differences. Operations team will confirm receipt of goods in system. Once the problem is resolved, the invoice is then passed for payment and paid. In a rare case, where a dispute or disagreement cannot be resolved by the Purchase Ledger or Procurement teams, the issue is escalated to the Commercial Director or Finance Director who will intervene and resolve the issue."
