Standard payment terms
SFGB does not use standard payment terms. Instead, we try our best to adhere to the payment terms set out by the supplier, as seen on their invoice. The most frequent term we encounter is 1 to 30 days from receipt of invoice, while a smaller proportion of suppliers use 14 or 7 days.

A dispute will be passed on to the appropriate department, who will contact the supplier to resolve the issue.

For example, signatories to The Prompt Payment Code must commit to paying 95% of their invoices within 60 days.

Scania Finance Great Britain Limited is registered as a financial intermediation business (SIC 64999) and forms part of the Scania Group, the global manufacturer of trucks and buses. Group evidence confirms that alongside vehicle sales and servicing, Scania offers financial services in most of its markets. This entity operates as the UK financing arm within that structure, rather than as a vehicle manufacturer or distributor itself, supporting Scania's British customers with finance for trucks, buses and related products. It is based in London and remains an active company, incorporated in 1987, contributing to the wider group's transport solutions business rather than trading independently in vehicle manufacture.
