Invoice disputes are initially raised by the Accounts Payable team, who contact the supplier contact or its credit control department to notify them of discrepancies on the invoices. If the initial dispute cannot be resolved it is escalated internally to the Buying Manager who will contact the supplier and resolve the issue via agreement or credit note. Once the dispute is resolved, if the invoice is past due it will be marked with priority payment status and processed accordingly.
