Company Review

Trend Analysis

CREST NICHOLSON PLC's payment trend indicates an average settlement time of 33 days, with a majority (60%) paid within 30 days. However, a substantial 34% are paid between 31 and 60 days, showing a consistent pattern of payments slightly exceeding standard 30-day terms for a significant portion of invoices.

Volatility Analysis

The 39% late payment rate for CREST NICHOLSON PLC suggests a moderate level of unpredictability in payment receipt, making precise cash flow forecasting challenging for suppliers. Although 94% of payments are made within 60 days, the remaining 6% extending beyond this period presents a specific risk of significant payment delays.

Summary Analysis

Overall, suppliers should factor in CREST NICHOLSON PLC's tendency for payments to often extend beyond 30 days, evidenced by the 33-day average and 39% late rate. It is advisable to establish clear payment terms, implement proactive invoice follow-up, and potentially adjust credit limits to mitigate the risk of extended delays, particularly for the 6% of payments that stretch beyond 60 days.

Dispute Resolution Process

Detailed information is available on www.crestnicholson.com/legal-information/supply-chain including details of contacts within Crest, process documentation for submitting invoices, applications to pay through to payments, remittances and query processes. This includes escalation and dispute resolution details. This is intended to support both Product suppliers and subcontractors. For Product suppliers your first point of call for invoice related queries should be your bought ledger regional contact (this can be identified on the above website link). If the document has not been approved you will be directed to the Crest owner of the purchase order associated with the invoice to resolve the issue. To ensure prompt payment all product invoices must quote a valid purchase order number and should be sent in via email not by post. If you are a subcontractor and have any concerns around the processing of your payment you are advised to speak directly with your initial contact at Crest that arranged the works and arranged the contract for the works with you. As soon as your application for payment is approved by this person the payment will be processed on the next standard payment run.
