Dispute Resolution Process

For the supply of direct items we have a number of BOS (Business Operating Systems) processes and an interactive supplier portal that deals with the complaint, the resolution and close out of the complaint. All the activities throughout the process are date stamped for both target close out and actual so we can monitor performance. This is a cross functional activity which can involve Quality, MP&L and Purchasing. For indirect items the Purchasing function endeavor to resolve any disputes. These are tabled to Purchasing through all functions of the business. In the event that Purchasing cannot resolve the issue then this is escalated for support to the seniors within our business and our Corporate Legal Department.
